Pretzel Bites

Homemade Pretzel Bites are soft and chewy, and so easy to make! They're the perfect snack to serve at parties or get-togethers.

You'll only need a few simple ingredients to make this easy recipe. Let's get started!

Step 1. Mix the flour, yeast, sugar, salt, warm water, and 3 tbsp melted butter in the bowl of a stand mixer until well-combined. 

Step 2. Cover dough with plastic wrap and allow to rest. Meanwhile, bring 8 cups of water to a boil in a large pot and add in baking soda.

Step 3. Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface. Then divide it into 8 equal portions.

Step 4. Shape each portion of the dough into a ball.

Step 5. Then roll each dough ball into a rope about 12 inches long.

Step 6. Cut each of those ropes into 1-inch pieces.

Step 7. Add the dough pieces to the baking soda water and cook for about 30 seconds.

Step 8. Remove the pretzels from the water and place them on a lined baking sheet.

Step 9. Lightly beat the eggs, and then brush each piece of dough with the egg wash.

Step 10. Place the pan in the oven, and bake for 10 to 12 minutes.

Step 11. Remove from oven and brush the pretzels with melted butter and sprinkle with salt.

Serve your warm, chewy Pretzel Bites with a beer cheese dip or honey mustard, and enjoy!
