KEY LIME BUNDT CAKE

INGREDIENTS

– All-purpose flour – Key lime – Unsalted butter – Granulated sugar – Eggs – Milk

It has just the right amount of sweet, tart lime flavor packed into a simple Bundt cake. Top that with a glaze made with even more lime, and you’ll find yourself firmly in lime bliss.

Whisk together the flour, zest, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

Using an electric mixer on medium speed, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Mix in the lime juice.

Reduce mixer speed to low. Add the flour mixture in three portions, alternating with two portions of the milk. Mix just until combined.

Transfer the batter to the prepared pan and spread it evenly.

Bake for 50 to 60 minutes, or until a pick inserted into the center comes out clean. Cool in the pan for 15 minutes. Then transfer the cake to a wire rack to cool completely.
