These easy sugar cookies are made simply by scooping the cookie dough instead of rolling and cutting the dough. Roll in sprinkles or other toppings to dress them up!

You'll need some basic baking ingredients plus cream cheese to make the cookies extra soft and flavorful.

Step 1. Begin by combining the dry ingredients.

Step 2. Next, beat the wet ingredients in a separate bowl.

Step 3. Mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined. Place the dough in the refrigerator to chill.

Step 4. After the dough has chilled, portion and shape into balls. Roll the dough balls in any toppings (like sprinkles, colored sugar, or chocolate) that you want to add.

Step 5.  Bake at 350°F for 14 to 16 minutes or until the cookies are lightly browned.
