CINNAMON CROWN CAKE

This cinnamon crown cake looks impressive, but it’s surprisingly easy to make! The center of this moist cake is a tunnel infused with a cozy mixture of cinnamon, nuts, and oats.

Whisk the flour, baking powder, and salt.

Mix the dry ingredients

Mix the wet ingredients

Use an electric mixer to beat the softened butter and sugar. Mix in the milk, eggs, and vanilla.

Combine wet and dry

Reduce the mixer speed to low and slowly add the dry ingredients, spoon half of this into the pan.

Make the “tunnel” batter

Stir the remaining ingredients into the remaining batter.

Spoon the cinnamon batter into the pan. Bake for 60 to 70 minutes, or until a pick inserted into the center comes out clean.
