Whisk or stir the flour, sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt in a large bowl. Make a well in the center.

Combine the dry ingredients and sugars

Combine the wet ingredients

Mix the eggs, butter, milk, and vanilla.

Finish mixing

Add the egg mixture to the well in the flour mixture. Stir just until the dry ingredients are moistened or a few streaks of flour remain.

Portion

Divide the batter evenly among the prepared muffin cups. Fill each cup about 2/3 full with approximately 3 tablespoons of batter.

Bake

Place the pan in the oven and bake the muffins for 20 to 22 minutes. The muffins are done when a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
