Whisk together 3 cups of the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

Beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy, and then mix in the eggs one at a time.

Mix in the flour mixture, alternating with the sour cream. Stir in the vanilla extract.

Toss the berries with 1/4 cup of flour, and then gently fold them into the batter.
