Whisk together the flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt.

Mix the wet ingredients

Cream the butter, sugar, and brown sugar. Then mix in the eggs and both extracts.

Finish mixing

Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture. Then fold in the chocolate chips and sprinkles, reserving some for topping the cookies if you like.

Chill

Cover and refrigerate the dough for 2 hours overnight.

Portion and shape

Using 3 tablespoons of dough at a time, roll the dough into balls and dip the tops into the reserved sprinkles.
