In a medium bowl, whisk the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

Mix the dry ingredients

Mix the wet ingredients

Use an electric mixer on medium speed to beat the butter, brown sugar, and peanut butter in a large bowl until they’re thoroughly combined. Beat in the eggs and vanilla.

Finish the batter

Reduce the mixer speed to low and add the dry ingredients in 3 portions, alternating with 2 portions of buttermilk.

Bake

Pour the batter into the prepared pan, then bake for 50 to 55 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and a pick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Cool and serve

Let the bread cool in the pan on a wire cooling rack for 10 minutes. Then remove the bread from the pan and place it directly on the rack to finish cooling.
