Step 1. Start by whisking the flour, baking powder, and salt together in a large mixing bowl. Then, in a separate bowl, use a mixer to cream the butter and sugar together.
Step 2. Next, beat in the whole eggs and the vanilla. On a lower speed, add half of the flour mixture, mix this well, and then beat in the egg yolks. Finally, pour in what's left of the flour mixture.
Step 3. Transfer the batter to the cake pan and sprinkle fresh blueberries over the top.
